On March 9, 2018, nearly 240 Connecticut educators, business leaders and Connecticut Department of Education officials attended the CS4CT Summit, “Launching the Computer Science Revolution in Connecticut,” seeking support for strategies that will embed effective, high-quality computer science curricula into Connecticut’s K-12 public school system and build computer-science professional development opportunities for teachers. EASTCONN’s STEM education specialist and STEM lab coordinator Stacy Watson and Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Dr. Toni Ryan, were in attendance to share EASTCONN’s Mobile STEM Lab as a resource for Connecticut students and educators.
