Direct Services for Families

EASTCONN provides early care and education services for pregnant moms and children, birth to age five. The Early Head Start and Head Start programs are designed to prepare income eligible and high needs children for successful school experiences while supporting their families. Strong partnerships encourage parents to take a leadership role in program planning and advocacy for their children.

Our Birth to Three service providers work with families to support children who have developmental delays and/or health concerns. Early intervention helps children achieve developmental skills and milestones. Parents will partner with the Birth to Three team to create individual family service plans that meet the specific needs of their child.

“Amazing is an understatement for Emily's [EASTCONN Birth-to-Three teacher]. She put every ounce of energy into helping Emily and us. Emily has made enormous progress!”The mother of Emily, a child in Birth to Three
