EASTCONN FUND
For 45 years, EASTCONN has been a trusted partner in advancing education, workforce training, and professional development across eastern Connecticut. Today, we are excited to invite you to play a pivotal role in launching the EASTCONN Fund, a new initiative designed to provide lasting support for educators, students, and innovative learning opportunities in our region.
We are proud to share that the EASTCONN Fund is held by the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut (CFECT), ensuring responsible financial stewardship and sustained impact.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Our goal for Year 1 is to raise $20,000 in seed funding to build the EASTCONN Fund as a long-term investment in education. This initial funding will grow over time, allowing us to support educators and students for years to come.
As the fund grows, it will:
- Provide free, high-quality professional development (PD) for school districts, ensuring teachers can access essential training districts otherwise might not be able to afford.
- Offer pilot mini-grants for educators to implement innovative classroom projects that enhance student learning.
- Enhance student experiential learning by funding immersive programs like EASTCONN’s Mobile Manufacturing Lab.
