Consultation

Our consultation approach:

  • Grounded in the problem-solving model
  • Collaborative development of measurable goals and outcomes that drive the consultation process from start to finish
  • Use of action planning in order to organize team-based responsibilities and provide accountability for teams and goals
  • Ongoing progress monitoring throughout intervention in order to evaluate the effectiveness and facilitate data-driven adaptation of student-, teacher-, program-, and systems-level supports

Areas of support often include:

  • Within-school and district-wide implementation of School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Ongoing support of academic, behavioral, and social supports for individual students (e.g., Behavior Intervention Plans(BIPs)) and school-based teams (e.g., RtI teams, data teams, student/teacher assistance teams)
  • Development of autism programming for individual students identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as team-based consultation and program development.
  • Support for alternative education programs
