EASTCONN Adventure Program

EASTCONN Adventure can help you build a supportive community, develop positive leaders and create an effective team. Our staff will work with you to custom-design a program that will meet the unique needs of your group. Plan a single- or multiday Adventure program for your class, group, staff or team at our facility or your facility. Through our experiential activities, participants learn strategies to increase trust and develop communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Designed for all ages and fitness levels, your EASTCONN Adventure might include portable adventure days, indoor team-building activities, group problem-solving initiatives, high-ropes or low-ropes course challenges, orienteering, rock climbing, hiking, environmental education activities and/or service-learning projects.

"I made good suggestions and it made me feel confident and that I was important."(5th grade student)

Each program is designed to increase student awareness, understanding and appreciation of diversity. Please see the EASTCONN website for information on specific interdistrict grants or contact Nancy Vitale, 860-455-1522, nvitale@eastconn.org

EASTCONN Adventure is an important component of Interdistrict programs and is committed to encouraging students to value differences in themselves and others. Adventure activities provide opportunities for developing strengths and insights and allow students to appreciate differences and commonalities among people, culture, and societies.
