EASTCONN promotes and supports lifelong learning for parents, workers and residents of northeastern Connecticut.

Whether it's supporting high school completion for adults, offering comprehensive job training programs, providing essential English language instruction, or delivering invaluable parenting support, our Adult & Community Programs have been meticulously crafted to empower all adult residents in our community. We are committed to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds acquire new, lifelong skills, broaden their horizons, and strive towards achieving ambitious goals that pave the way for a brighter future.

• Attend 1 in-person session at either CLC or NELC) and the ZOOM each week
• Co-enroll in either a high school completion program of the ELL program
• Complete a portfolio with support from instructor
• Complete 480 hours of internship

• Eligible for free adult education
• Either have a high school diploma or be on track to complete by 7/1/25 (a diploma is required in order to be certified)
• Demonstrate Intermediate English Proficiency

Tuesdays: 1-3:30 pm

NELC*: 562 Westcott Road, Danielson

Thursdays: 1-3:30 pm ZOOM

Fridays: Full-day internship at a childcare center
