Fingerprinting Services

Conveniently located fingerprinting services, provided by EASTCONN experts, help ensure a smooth hiring process for potential employees.

EASTCONN offers fingerprinting services to Local Education Agencies and their job applicants in compliance with Connecticut state law. EASTCONN also offers fingerprinting services for organizations other than Connecticut school districts. Also, in accordance with Connecticut law, EASTCONN offers fingerprinting services for all local school systems to have all new employees, including substitute teachers, fingerprinted for state and national criminal history checks.

Fingerprinting is offered by appointment only. Appointments are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please call 860-455-0707 to schedule an appointment.

What to Bring With You

Bring the following with you: one (1) form of identification (government-issued photo ID), which can include your license, passport or ID and one (1) completed form from each approved BOE, charter or private school. You will also need to bring your Regional Educational Service Center (RESC) Fingerprint Permission Form and the applicant tracking number from the CCHRS Pre-Enrollment System. Individuals must have pre-registered in the Connecticut Criminal History Request System. After completing the pre-enrollment steps, a confirmation screen will appear confirming registration is complete, including your Applicant Tracking Number. This Tracking Number will need to be taken to your fingerprinting session. EASTCONN charges a fee of $38.75 for this service. Visa or MasterCard only. Cash is not accepted.
