This is the origin website for Teachers College Reading and Writing Project at Teachers College. Here you'll find many resources and videos to acclimate yourself to K-8 units of study, assessments and up-to-date information around institutes, days and workshops. A great place to start.

This site provides access to units of study, online resources, blogs and podcasts on current topics in education. By far one of our most important resources, NEWSELA offers a discount through EASTCONN and the other RESCS for small and large districts. If you can't access the full website, the six daily articles are worth the visit each day. Grab them at each LEXILE level and you'll have a quick resource for all of your readers. LEXILES will adjust sentence length and vocabulary syllables, but not ideas and structures.
An absolute MUST. The Smithsonian's TweenTribune is similar to NEWSELA, but it's free (though not as in-depth with content).
Digital Promise was created with a mission to accelerate innovation in education to improve opportunities to learn. You’ll find opportunities to network with other innovative educators as well as resources on Instructional Coaching, Competency-Based Learning, and more.
