Dr. Ravit Stein earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Lehigh University, where she received extensive training in applied behavior analysis and evidence-based practice across school and clinical settings. Dr. Stein has served as an educational and behavioral consultant in schools and hospitals throughout the Northeast, where she has conducted diagnostic assessments and developed evidence-based behavioral interventions for children with acquired brain injury, ADHD, pervasive developmental disorders, and a variety of other presenting problems including Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, aggression, sleep problems, phobias, and school problems. Dr. Stein is a licensed psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D), and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and oversees the Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services division at EASTCONN. Dr. Stein supervises the provision of school-based consultation on an individual, whole classroom, or system-wide basis for students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), learning, and/or behavior problems. She teaches graduate courses at the Neag School of Education at UCONN and conducts professional development workshops throughout the region. Erin Crosby is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who has supported EASTCONN Bridges Community School (formerly EASTCONN Autism Program) previously as a BCBA, and currently serves as the Program Director. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University, her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University, and completed her graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Massachusetts. In addition to her work at EASTCONN Bridges Community School, Ms. Crosby is a member of EASTCONN’s Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services Department, where she has served as an educational and behavioral consultant supporting school-based teams to establish supports for students, teams, and administrators at the school-wide, small group, and individual student level. Ms. Crosby’s areas of expertise include classroom management and coaching, as well as supporting students who require more comprehensive and individualized programming. Rachel is a licensed and board certified behavior analyst in the Department of Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services at EASTCONN. She completed her master’s degree in school psychology and graduate coursework in applied behavior analysis at the University of South Florida. She has experience supporting students from a variety of backgrounds with a myriad of behavioral, developmental, medical, environmental, and social/emotional strengths and needs in school, clinical, and research settings. Rachel is passionate about collaborating with students, their families, and school teams to implement data-driven, evidence-based practices which leverage students’ strengths and eliminate barriers to accessing high-quality educational services. Dr. Chris Barclay is an Educational & Behavioral Consultant at EASTCONN’s Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services department. He received his B.S. with research honors from Georgia State University and worked as a counselor for the nationally-acclaimed Summer Treatment Program at the Center for Children and Families in Miami. He was awarded the Delores Auzenne Fellowship to attend the University of South Florida, where he earned his Ed.S. and Ph.D. in school psychology and completed an interdisciplinary training program at the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Barclay is a Licensed Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). He has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Connecticut and Purdue University Global. He has experience collaborating with teachers, families, and leadership teams in the implementation of evidence-based practices in general education, special education, pediatric, clinical, and recreational settings. Dr. Barclay’s most extensive experience is in the development of multi-tiered support systems for social-emotional and behavioral health in public and alternative schools, especially for youth with trauma histories and externalizing challenges. He also has experience in creating staff development systems, coaching in leadership and classroom management, conducting psychoeducational evaluations, and developing individualized behavior interventions. Dr. Jennifer Carr earned her PhD. in School Psychology from Syracuse University, where she received training in applied behavior analysis, academic and behavioral interventions, and consultation. She is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Dr. Carr completed her doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the May Institute, working with students with acquired brain injury, neurobehavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Before joining EASTCONN, Dr. Carr worked primarily at residential schools serving children and adolescents with significant interfering behavior. At EASTCONN, she serves as a Psychologist/BCBA at the Clinical, Developmental, & Therapeutic (CDT) programs, working with students with emotional disabilities, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety, depression, and ASD.  At CDT, she works with classroom teams, administrators, and school clinicians to implement school-wide, class-wide, and individual student behavioral interventions using data-based decision making. Dr. Jennifer Connolly is a supervising Educational and Behavioral Consultant at EASTCONN’s Psychological and Behavioral Consultation department. She also serves as a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and licensed psychologist. Dr. Connolly received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Connecticut, where she helped conduct research in the areas of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), implementation of school-based behavior plans, and positive teacher-student interactions. Dr. Connolly is trained in conducting a variety of assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), psycho-educational evaluations, and ecological evaluations. She has conducted trainings and workshops in ABA, data collection, and classroom management, and has supported teams in developing individualized strength-based and evidence-based programming for complex learners. Dr. Connolly also has experience in providing ABA services and consultation in home and community settings, and teaches graduate level courses in ABA at Bay Path University. Nicole is licensed and certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Behavior Analyst. Currently, she works as the Assistive Technology Specialist for EASTCONN's Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Department. Nicole received her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Worcester State University. She worked for several years as a Speech-Language Pathologist before returning to school to study Applied Behavior Analysis at Northeastern University. After working in the field for several more years in applied behavioral analysis, Nicole continued to advance her career by acquiring a Certificate of Special Education Administration from Rhode Island College. Before working at EASTCONN, Nicole was the SLP/BCBA and then Special Education Director of a non-public school supporting individuals of all ages with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Nicole has a passion for educational technology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She works closely with families and school teams to educate, train and support the implementation of technology and AAC in the school environment. Jacquelyn DuBois, Ph.D.

Dr. Jacquelyn DuBois is a senior Educational and Behavioral Consultant and Licensed Psychologist at EASTCONN’s Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services (PBC) department. She earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Northeastern University, and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Before earning her doctorate, Dr. DuBois received her Master’s degree in Applied Educational Psychology from Northeastern University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cornell University. She completed her doctoral internship at Devereux Foundation Center for Effective Schools, where she assisted urban and alternative schools in developing, implementing, and evaluating multi-tiered systems of support. Dr. DuBois has experience in public school systems, community mental health, hospitals, and early intervention settings. Within EASTCONN, Dr. DuBois has worked with public school districts to develop and support implementation of multi-tiered systems of support, provided professional development trainings, coaching, and technical assistance, evaluated student behavioral supports and programs, and conducted functional behavior assessment (FBAs). She serves as Doctoral Internship Coordinator, which includes overseeing and providing supervision to doctoral interns in school psychology. Dr. DuBois is also EASTCONN’s Trauma-Informed Training Coordinator, collaborating with the RESC Alliance to develop, provide, and evaluate training in trauma-informed practices in schools. Dr. Erin Dunn is a senior Educational and Behavioral Consultant at EASTCONN, a Regional Educational Service Center located in eastern Connecticut. Dr. Dunn received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Syracuse University. During her career, Dr. Dunn has focused primarily on academic and behavioral assessment, evidence-based intervention, and best practices related to providing education in alternative settings. In addition to providing consultation to schools across Connecticut and Massachusetts, she has published several articles and book chapters, served as the Director of Behavioral Psychology at an alternative school for students with Traumatic Brain Injury, and taught graduate-level courses in her areas of expertise. Dr. Dunn’s current work is primarily focused on increasing district-level expertise and efficiency for supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional wellbeing by creating and supporting data-based teams. This work relies on a Multi-Tiered Systems of support (MTSS) framework which allows districts to ensure that students receive the necessary support to succeed in the least restrictive environment possible. Kelley Finlan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services division at EASTCONN.  She completed her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Western Connecticut State University.  Kelley has worked directly with students as an ABA instructor at EASTCONN, and now, as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), she provides behavioral and educational consultative services in several public school districts in Eastern Connecticut.  Kelley is passionate about providing evidence-based supports to students, families, teams and administrators that allow for access to high-quality and inclusive educational experiences. Kate is a nationally certified school psychologist within EASTCONN's Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services department. She received her Masters of Education and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from the School Psychology program at the University of Massachusetts Boston and her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University of Maryland. Prior to joining the EASTCONN team, Kate worked in the greater Boston area, as well as other schools in southeastern Connecticut. She has extensive experience with the K-12 population and enjoys the unique developmental characteristics of all age groups. In particular, Kate has studied the benefits of mindfulness and yoga, including how to incorporate those tools into the school environment. In Spring 2014, she partnered with the Yale Child Study Center to conduct a research study on the impact of practicing mindfulness on adolescent anxiety. Dr. Rose Jaffery is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) with comprehensive training in school-wide implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (SW-PBIS), applied behavior analysis, and evidence-based practices to support students with a variety of educational needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, learning problems, and/or behavioral difficulties. Jess Lievense is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the Psychological and Behavioral Consultation Services division at EASTCONN. She completed her master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education, along with coursework for her BCBA, at Vanderbilt University. She has a background working with individuals of all ages including experience with home services and group homes, and in public and private school settings with grades PK -12. Prior to working at EASTCONN, she worked in the Boston area serving in consultative and administrative roles within public school settings, overseeing ABA programming, and in group homes training staff and families to support young adults. Mrs. Miglio is the Board Certified Behavior Analyst for EASTCONN Autism Program as the Lead Special Education Teacher at the EASTCONN Autism Program. Jessica has served as the Special Education Teacher for the EASTCONN Autism Program since early stages of the program in 2010.  She completed her graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Massachusetts, holds a Master of Science degree in Special Education from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College  in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies.  She has a background working with children of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Prior to working at EASTCONN, she worked at The New England Center for Children in Southborough, Massachusetts where she received extensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis.  Mrs. Miglio also serves as a Behavioral Consultant working in several local school districts to assist with building autism programs within public schools. Dr. Taylor Thorne is an Educational & Behavioral Consultant in the Department of Psychological and Behavioral Consultation at EASTCONN. Prior to her graduate studies, Taylor worked as a research assistant in the Department of Neuropsychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Her primary responsibilities at EASTCONN are to provide consultative services at the individual student, classroom, and systems level to support a variety of student behavioral needs, implement whole staff professional development training, and conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments. Eva Troyb, Ph.D.

Pediatric Neuropsychologist

Dr. Eva Troyb earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology with concentrations in Neuropsychology and Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut. While at the University of Connecticut, she was mentored by Dr. Deborah Fein and received extensive training in assessment of toddlers, children, adolescents and adults referred for suspected Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), as well as individuals with ASD who are in need of a re-evaluation for treatment planning. Dr. Troyb completed her doctoral internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She conducted neuropsychological evaluations of children in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital who sustained mild to severe acquired brain injury. In addition, Dr. Troyb worked in an outpatient neuropsychological assessment setting with children who presented with a variety of congenital and acquired central nervous system disorders, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), epilepsy, brain tumors, stroke, cerebral palsy, and spina bifida. She also provided brief behavioral intervention to families of children with mild to moderate behavior problems. Dr. Troyb completed her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. During her fellowship, she had the opportunity to continue conducting evaluations with children referred for a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ASDs and ADHD) and acquired central nervous system disorders (e.g., epilepsy and oncology). In addition, she received extensive training in evaluating and recommending treatment for children with learning disabilities including dyslexia, as well as a variety of psychiatric conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, OCD) and behavior regulation difficulties. Throughout this time, Dr. Troyb has continued to collaborate with Dr. Fein on a number of research projects investigating the early detection of ASDs, range of outcomes and early predictors of outcomes in ASD, and the relationship between symptoms of ASD and executive functioning.
